Heather Armstrong dies

 

I was scrolling through on phone when news of Heather Armstrong's death came out.  Heather Armstrong?  I though that name was familiar.  It was.  Heather Armstrong ran the blog Dooce which I used to read, primarily attracted by her dog Chuck which could balance almost everything on its head.

Armstrong wrote about parenthood mostly.  But what I enjoyed reading was about Chuck.  When Chuck passed on, I landed on Dooce less and less and just a few days ago I read about Armstrong's death.  I never did realise then how popular Armstrong or Dooce was, and now feel like part of an era had just passed on with Armstrong's passing.
