I returned to the stall selling Ayam Penyet, hoping against hope that inflation has not resulted in any price increase for the dish. Alas.
There is a slight change to the dish. The fried-upon-order chicken is still fried-upon-order, so it remains thankfully hot and crispy. There is still a little portion of tofu.
Cucumber is down to a slice instead of the two slices previously. There is now some shredded raw cabbage, which I'm not too fond of. The accompanying chilli is now green instead of red. It tasted different, and the heat only kicked in maybe like 5 seconds later. There is now a little portion of tempeh. Yay!
If the price increases any further, I may have to forego this dish...
