Holiday Inn Skopje

Holiday Inn Skopje is located along the Vardar River, which is a nice location, as there are many restaurants along the way from Skopje Old Town.  

The twin room and bathroom are decent and functional, and there even is a balcony, from which I retreated quite quickly as the temperature plunged unpon nightfall.

I didn't quite understand why housekeeping decided to place the bathroom glasses at the ledge above the toilet instead of on the vanity area around the sink.  But, I was quite happy to see that Holiday Inn provided tissue paper, which most hotels that I stayed in Eastern Balkans did not.  Is tissue not used much there, I wonder.
