Tales of the Peculiar is a book tha is part of the Peculiar children universe created by Ransom Riggs. It is a collection of stories of peculiar children before Miss Peregrine created a loop for the children.
The above sentence would seem like gibbish to a non-reader of the peculiar books or someone who had not watched the movie Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
But for someone who has been sucked into the Peculiar world, the first story in this book 'The Splendid Cannibals' is already quite a hoot to read, and I do wonder, if the writer Ransom Riggs had meant to rib certain groups of people through this story?
