Die unglaubliche Reise des Herrn Schmitt, written by Claudia Peter and published by Verlag Liebaug-Dartmann is tougher to read compared to the earlier easy readers written by Claudia Peter. It is written for the B2/C1 level, and there are more unfamiliar words in the story. Obviously the Wortschatz that I know is insufficient to read a B2/C1 book, so that is something I need to work on.
Nevertheless, it is still possible to get a rough gist of the story, even if I had to read it twice, and am still unsure if I really understood all the humour that is in the story.
Perhaps I need to sit on this story for a while, brush up on Wortschatz before reading it again.
