Padthai (fried flat rice noodles with prawns, shedded vegetables and peanuts) is relatively affordable in Thailand. As always with foreign foods, Padthai can be quite expensive to eat in restaurants.
I chanced upon a tiny Thai foodstall manned by 2 Thai cooks. I paid half the price for my Padthai as compared to the chain Thai eateries, and wasn't expecting succulent large glass prawns in my padthai.
