Visited a pastries factory cum wholesaler in Yong Peng in Johor, Malaysia. The shop is really generous with samples, and thankfully so, as the samples kept me going untill a really late lunch past 1.30pm.
Some of the pastries were freshly baked and packed, it feels good holding a box of still warm pineapple tarts!
And I think that despite the type about Taiwanese pineapple tarts, Yong Peng's are tastier, and of course cheaper. Paying in ringgit is such a happy experience!
