Hotel WBF Northgate [Japan]

Had never stayed at any Hotel WBF, but thought I'd give this chain a try, since it is located really near Sapporo station and just across the road from a Yodabashi Camera.

Hotel WBF Northgate is a 2-minute walk from Sapporo station's north exit, with the reception at level 2 and breakfast underground.  There is a 24-hour Lawson at level 1, which is really convenient for buying ice-cream.

The standard twin room at 23.8m2 is bigger than that at Four Points by Sheraton Hakodate, but strangely, feels smaller.  The hotel is a little old, as the bathroom looks dated with separate taps for hot and cold water for both the washbasin and the tub.

The fun part of the hotel, was the shelves of pillows of varying heights and hardness to pick from at the lobby, and the choices of shampoos, conditioners and body washes.  Thanks to the hotel, I discovered the Himawari shampoo and conditioner. Really good stuff.
