TvN is broadcasting the second last episode of Hotel Del Luna tonight. The series is almost at its end while I'm still at episode 6, waiting for the sub-titled episodes.
Hotel Del Luna uses a very korean story-telling way of presenting what happens when people passed on. IU runs a hotel for spirits pending their onward journeys, as punishment for the many lives she took.
It's interesting how the hotel IU runs reflects how the korean nation had progressed, from a wooden building at its beginning to a shack during the korean war to the gleaming hotel with its own beach now. It also helps that IU parades an endless array of fashion, with a new outfit and accessories for each scene she appeared in. I'm beginning to appreciate the rich jewelled tones of flowing high-necked dresses.
Such a pain to wait in suspense for 2 sub-titled episodes a week...
