During their visit to Bhutan, William and Kate trekked up to Tiger`s Nest, which I did last year!
According to the article, they found the view up the trek stunning, and the trek easy. Evidently both of them are fitter than me, as the trek up became increasingly tough for me.
It wasn`t stated in the article if they went into the cave where Guru Rinpoche mediated in, so that might have been one experience they missed if they were not accorded special privileges.
The photos from their trek brought back lovely memories of my trek last year, and now I`m thinking of making a second trip to Bhutan.
