Thanks (or no thanks) to the pandemic, all the factory visits have been suspended and continues to be suspended.

Which means that it remains impossible to buy the freshest bakes/sweets at a discount even if I am willing to brave long train and bus rides to the factories.

Still the bakes and sweets continue to be churned out and they will not look as good as they did in the display cases because inadvertently I would have for some point in the journey home, not hold the bag with the box of cakes properly, even though the sales staff had taken care in placing the cakes properly and even adding those cushioning pieces of cardboards.
